MANOWAR Director Comments On The Making Of 'Hell On Earth III'

Video director Neil Johnson, who was responsible for putting together MANOWAR's upcoming "Hell On Earth III" DVD, recently gave his personal report about this massive package which is due to be released on December 8.

"It continues from where 'Hell On Earth Part Two' left off," he said. "Disc One covers the 1998-1999 summer festivals and the Monsters Of The Millennium Tour.

"This DVD is packed full of incredible moments. One of my personal favorites is the first live performance of Nessun Dorma at the Gods Of Metal Festival in Milan, Italy. If you look closely, you can see tears streaming from the audience's eyes. Such is the power of MANOWAR onstage — simply awe-inspiring.

"Disc Two contains the entire performance of the Ringfest in Cologne, Germany. It was one of those nights where magic was created. The entire concert was recorded in true 5.1 surround sound. I was stunned when I heard the test discs in the authoring suite. I could hear the sounds of the audience all around me. It is as if, I was standing in the audience. Never before have I heard the sound of a live concert mixed like this. Plus the entire concert was re-cut from scratch and digitally color graded.

"In addition, every music video ever made by MANOWAR appears on this disc. As a tribute to the fans, there are two versions of 'Gloves Of Metal'. The original and a new version re-cut with new added scenes."
